Chairman's Day 2012 PDF Print E-mail

The Chairman's Day for the NDPGS will take place at Ilfracombe Golf Club on Friday 2nd March 2012. As usual all members are encouraged to invite a couple of guests to play with them in an 18 hole Stableford competition.

£20 for golf, a carvery and prizes for members and guests + nearest the pins prizes.

The Tees will be decided on the day (by The Chairman) and the handicap adjustment will also be decided by The Chairman (probably in advance of the day!)

If you can only come for the meal it will be £12 - please let me know.

Entry will be taken as usual through this website and will be opened in the early summer.

Welcome to The North Devon Police Golf Society PDF Print E-mail

The idea of these pages is to run the Society with the least possible fuss and with the most possible efficiency! I will try to do my bit by keeping it up to date and informative - all you have to do is keep coming back and take part while you are here -  If you want to contribute an article to the site, you have something to sell or just post something in the forum then get involved and sign up.

Where would you like to play?

The Society plays all over North Devon with Ilfracombe as our home club. We go to Tiverton, Royal North Devon, Portmor, Saunton, Dainton Park, East Devon, Minehead and occasionally others.

  • You dont need a handicap.
  • You dont have to be a Golf Club member.
  • Annual Society membership is only £15
  • It will only cost you £15 per match (occasionally that will include travel by minibus!) To include a great meal. The remainder is paid by the Society.
  • You will need a tie - but we will flog you one of ours!

2012 Season update PDF Print E-mail

The fixtures now complete for 2012 now and are available to members on the website now. You may notice a few changes to fixtures and one or two matches have been removed. We have a match at Saunton again this year against the RAF which is sure to be a popular fixture and you will notice that most matches are now 10 a side, so we are hoping for some good support from our members for 2012 and not so much difficulty getting teams.

The only matches to remain as 12 a side are RAF and Tiverton.

THE AGM WILL BE ON FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY AT 1715 HRS AT PILTON.

Mitch is retiring in the summer and will be moving away so we need a new treasurer. I will be standing down as Secretary at the AGM as well, so if you are interested in taking on either position (ideally the secretary should be a member at Ilfracombe but this is not essential) please let me know asap.

The role of Secretary can involve some website lessons too if you like !

Please do your best to attend.

In the meantime get the fixture list from the website and send your availability in ASAP.

Enter matches online !! PDF Print E-mail

Entries to matches for 2012 can now be taken ON THIS WEBSITE !! CLICK HERE

Once logged in you will see the list of matches, locations, times etc. all you have to do is click on the ones you want to play and tick the box that says "I WILL GO" to enter. This will run alongside the paper entry method that many have already completed and sent to Russ. Why not have a look and fill in your availability. You can also remove yourself if your circumstances change so even if you have already submitted your form please do this one aswell and then it will become your latest availability that you can manage yourself.
